A big month of chess for UQ Chess Club. A FIDE, ACF and QJ rated event across all three formats, with a minimum prize pool of $2,500 that will increase with more entries. The breakdown of prize distributions will be published closer to the start of October.

Important: participants must also be registered with the Chess Association of Queensland to play. This costs $20 for the year — sign up at caq.org.au/membership-levels.

Refunds are offered up until 24 hours before each event begins. Withdrawals after that time will not be refunded.
