The UQ Chess Club is a welcoming community of chess enthusiasts at The University of Queensland, open to everyone, beginners and seasoned players alike. We meet every Wednesday from 5-7pm, offering a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy casual matches and connect with fellow students who share a love for the game. We also hold regular tournaments throughout the semester, giving members a chance to compete and test their skills. Whether you're new to chess or have years of experience, we invite you to join us, make new friends, and challenge yourself over the board!
